Checking in

Our hotel reception is situated in the W1 block, conveniently located down Market Lane at 19 Henderson Street, directly behind Gimlet.

Guests will find council parking right in front of the W1 Cottages.

The gate remains open from 9 AM until 9 PM to ensure an easy check-in process.

Check in is from 2pm onwards however if our guests arrive early to explore we can watch luggage in hotel reception.

Step back in time and enjoy a taste of history at our hotel. Built in 1852 by the convicts of Fremantle Prison, our establishment carries the charm and stories of the past.

To welcome you, we offer a complimentary arrival drink in Gimlet, our cozy and inviting bar.

Join us daily between 4pm-7pm and toast to the rich heritage of Fremantle, it’s the perfect start to your stay.

In keeping with the simplicity and charm of our historic hotel, we offer a delightful light breakfast each morning in Gimlet for all our guests.

From 7am to 11am daily, join us in our intimate café/gin bar and savor a selection of delicious pastries, sweets, and barista-made coffee.

Our hotel reception is open 9am - 9pm daily. However we understand that sometimes our guests plans don’t match our opening hours.

If our guests are planning an after-hours arrival we require a few preliminary steps to be completed prior, once completed we are able to set up a lockbox check in.

After Hours Check in

Located in the heart of Fremantle and within walking distance of the train station, we recommend leaving the car at home and immersing yourself in the vibrant Fremantle culture.

However, if you do decide to drive, we offer a limited number of offsite parking bays available for reservation. There is a daily fee of $30, and pre-booking is essential to secure a spot.

Parking

For our guests who prefer to explore Fremantle by bike, we provide secure bike racks located in the W1 laneway.

The laneway is locked every night with a gate accessible only to our guests, ensuring the safety of your bicycles.
